抹茶车打蛋糕(Matcha Cheddar Cheese Cake)



相信大家最近都和我一样两眼直瞪着电视机
或竖起双耳守在收音机旁,等待“迷失的飞机”展现奇迹吧?
虽然大家心里有数,但是还是抱着不放弃的精神;给予全力的支持。
在这艰难时刻,全世界都站在同一正线,为同一个目标努力,奋斗;
这是非常难得的。
当然也有许多不堪入耳的言语和唯恐天下不乱的人存在的。
但是,守望相助的人还是占大多数的。
我想,如果我们都是没有多大能耐,
也没有很厉害的头脑去帮助这件事水落石出的话,
那么至少也得管好我们的舌头。
现在真的不是声讨责任的时候,找到飞机才是最重要的。
但愿每个人祷声蒙垂听,
但愿每个人的心愿蒙应允,
但愿是个大团圆。

这个很喜欢的食谱,做了好多好多回,
却原来没有记载过。
答应朋友们上星期上贴子的,但拖了又拖。
今天终于完成这任务。
可是我的3 个朋友们早等不及我上稿,
自行拍了我的手抄食谱做了这蛋糕。
呵呵。。。我是有点慢拍子的;对不起了。

食谱取自:星厨房
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 100g fresh milk
  • 100g unsalted butter 
  • 6 egg yolks 
  • 6 egg whites
  • 100g caster sugar 
  • 100g low protein flour
Method:
  1. Preheat the oven to 150C with a water bath.  Grease and line 8" square baking pan.
  2. Warm milk, butter and tear up cheddar cheese slices in a bowl in microwave or over a pot of simmering water,  stir until all melted and become creamy. Mix well and set aside to cool slightly before use.
  3. whisk in the egg yolks and mix to combine.
  4. (Note: if you wish to add in matcha flavour, then take 3-4 tbsp of cheese mixture out to add with 1tsp matcha paste. Then add in 6tbsp stiff peak form egg whites. Fold gently and create marble effect)
  5. In another mixing bowl, beat egg white till foamy. Gradually add in sugar and beat till stiff peaks.
  6. Mix 1/3 of egg white mixture with cheese mixture. Gently mix to combine.
  7. Fold in the balance egg white mixture with a spatula, mix well. 
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth out the surface. Then bake the cake in the oven for about 60 minutes at lower rack or till the tester comes out clean.
  9. Let cake sit inside the oven for 5mins with oven door ajar. Remove from oven, immediately remove cake from cake pan, cool on wire rack.
