sambal dried shrimp puff & chocolate puff
Today is Tricia's birthday. Me, Debbie and of course our birthday girl met for breaky.
Actually not thinking of joining them as i am doing my self detox diet this week.
In order not to dissapointed Tricia especially on her special day i went this morning and just had a kid's breakfast but yet still cant finished my order.
We had a long chat but our main topic still cant go far from our daily life.
Every meeting with them, i learn something new regarding the lifestyle of Aussie.
So much different from us, the Asian.
We did some shopping after our coffee.
I am run out of time to prepare after school snack for kids.
Just did some real simple chocolate puff for them.
And did 2 sambal dried shirmp puff for my hubby.
It is as simple as ABC. Even u are new in baking, i am sure u can make this.

- 1 pcs Butter Puff Pastry Sheet
- 1/2 cup package of semi-sweet chocolate squares, cut into 6 pcs, 2 squres each.
- Thaw puff pastry sheet at room temperature 15 mins.
- cut pastry sheet into 6 small rectangles.
- wrap in the chocolate square and seal edges with a fork.
- brush pastry with some egg yolk.
- place on a baking tray.
- Preheat oven to 200°C and bake for 15 mins or until puffed and golden.
- serve warm, dusted with confectioners' sugar.
Jane, the puff looks so nicely baked. I like both the sweet and savory filling, yum yum.

hanushi, it is homemade sambal dried shrimp but my aunt that made for me :)

Angel, 我只是用叉子压下而已,没有大大力。而且没有压双面。至于花纹不见我也莫不着脑了。
